2009 Agency of the Year McGarryBowen has hired BCP to send a crew over to Chevron headquarters in San Ramon, California.

Retrofit Films in LA reached out to Big City for production services on a shoot at the DC Comics offices.

BCP produced and shot ANTM Cycle 14 contestant interviews. For Cycle 10 and Cycle 12, we covered the ladies during their press junket. This go round we caught up with the girls at Milk Studios NYC during the shooting of the cycle’s first episode.

We just completed post-production services on two videos for Marriott International. Both pieces leverage McGarryBowen’s ad campaign “Where the Driven Go.”

Looks like we’re off to the (bike) races again with our old friend Graham Hill, Founder of TreeHugger.com The development team at Discovery’s Planet Green Channel have turned to Big City to produce as series of on-air interstitials centered around reproducible, medium-sized green solutions being implemented in New York City. And the host for these four segments is going to be Graham.

We’re up here in Portland, Maine shooting for McGarryBowen-client Kraft Foods covering the four gallons of Miracle Whip going into the making of a gigantic 60-foot lobster roll striving to unseat the current Guinness Record holder of nearly 51-feet. We’re especially curious about the trucking-in of the 60-foot-long Italian roll needed to achieve the dream, but now the local paper, the Portland Press Herald, is reporting on an even greater doughy hurdle needing to be overcome: Amato’s Bakery planned to provide 40 pounds of dough for a 60-foot roll, but its largest oven is 4 feet wide.

While we were hard at work on various projects for TreeHugger.com and the soon-to-be-launched Planet Green channel, Big City was tasked with translating TreeHugger’s signature graphical look to the television screen in the form of animated in-program-messages.

It’s Oscar day, and we’ve just placed our Vloggie statuette for Best Green Vlog on the mantle of our over at THTV. For those out there looking to green up their video making a bit, here’s a trick: For the TreeHuggerTV eco-Halloween special produced by Big City last fall, not only did we for the first time shoot in High Definition video, we also never used or threw away a single videotape in the process.

BCP will be doing a multicam shoot for Corbis-owned client Veer later this month. Titled An evening with Rian Hughes: Design, Tea, and Biscuits the live event will be held at the Art Director’s Club in New York City, a location with which we are intimately familiar having shot an offsite event for Core77.
