We shot the cast of Gossip Girl in character in order to send a wink to already crazed fans, but more importantly to let newer viewers know that it wasn’t too late to leap feet first into the show and to get intimate with the personalities inhabiting the show’s world.
We gallivanted over to Silvercup Studios with a union crew and nabbed the good cast in-between takes: Blake Lively as Serena Vanderwoodsen, Leighton Meester as Blair Waldorf, Penn Badgley as Dan Humphreys and Taylor Momsen as Jenny Humphreys.
Company Owner & Founder George Spyros Executive Produced and was the DGA member Director for the shoots. We shot 720p Hi-Definition video on the Panasonic HVX 200 to P2 card.

Until such time when a certain bleeding-edge technology provides shallow depth-of-field no longer dependent on the optics of large pieces of glass in a tube, you can immediately graft said glass tubiness onto your wee iPhone using Photojojo’s iPhone SLR Mount.

Newton interprets each 2D layer as a rigid body in a real environment. Once simulation is completed, animation is recreated in After Effects with standard keyframes.

Flavorwire has desaturated and uploaded 10 films that they claim provide a better viewing experience in black and white.
The Oona looks like a useful tool for rigging up your iPhone in tight shooting situations or as a car mount.
