On August 16th 2008, BCP sent a camera crew out to The Hamptons for the Gossip Girl Season 2 Premiere Party to send a little video footage back to the Los Angeles edit bays of prod co Reitz Lange with eventual final destination being of course The CW Network.

While a red carpet event, our directive steered us from presenting the standard two-minutes of entertainment magazine show hoo-ha. Rather, our mission was to get sound straight from the cast’s mouths 1) recapping next season and 2) whetting our appetites with hints of things to come in our next whirl in the world of Gossip Girl.  As viewers of the show, it was a nice perk being privy to the tightly-guarded plots of the new season’s first two episodes, but we knew the real point was not to retain already committed viewers, rather to hook new eyeballs.
