[...] My production company Big City Pictures shot a 2005 interview with now Michelle Obama inaugural day dress designer Isabel Toledo and I thought today might be a fitting time to unearth it a bit. The occasion was an exhibit of her and illustrator husband Rueben Toledo’s work at the Barneys Store in midtown NYC. Having seen a number of her pieces up-close, we have to say the details are exquisite as are the silhouettes.
