BCP produced the sit-down interview shoots for on-camera experts in the History Channel television show The Lost Book of Nostradamus, somewhat based on the Michael Rathford book The Nostradamus Code World War 3 (2007-2012).

How BigCityPix Did It

Big City’s challenge was to match the look and feel of other sit-downs which already had been shot around the world in Italy, Australia and other points USA. We were also tasked with locating an affordable location that fit with the medieval style of the previously lensed interview footage. Enter neo-gothic Angel Orensanz Center on New York’s Lower East Side.

Director of Photography Scott Sinkler rocked one of his Sony F900 HD cams to put a beautiful spin on the show’s dark and mysterious mode. Just between you, us and the rest of the internet — we think our footage is the best of all the interviews! ;-} In any event, the clients were predictably pleased. Get it? Predictably? Nostradamus…?
