    We heard tell of executive producer Ashton Kutcher’s drama The Beautiful Life at this year’s CW Network upfront. Having done a whole mess of stuff for CW shows Gossip Girl and America’s Next Top Model, we were looking forward to some fresh faces.     About Nico Tortorella

    Nico Tortorella stars as successful fashion model Cole Shepherd in The CW’s new drama “The Beautiful Life: TBL.”

    Tortorella will next be seen in Joel Schumacher’s film “Twelve,” which tells the story of a young drug dealer watching his high-rolling life dismantle in the wake of his cousin’s murder. The film is based on the novel by Nick McDonell and also stars Emma Roberts, Keifer Sutherland, 50 Cent, Ellen Barkin and Zoe Kravitz. The film is scheduled for release in 2010.

    Tortorella was recently seen in a recurring role in “Make It or Break It,” which follows of a group of teen Olympic hopefuls as they train and prepare for their day in the spotlight.

    A native of Chicago, Illinois, Tortorella now spends his time between Los Angeles, California and New York.
