Sony has redesigned its hit prosumer cam the PMW-EX1 saying that all changes were based only on customer feedback — let’s hope there’s now a switch on the side of the camera to change presets quickly rather than having to drill into the menus. So just what are the improvement to be found in the PMW-EX1R?
• Improvements in SD recording
• 15 second buffer for cache recording
• better viewfinder
