Knut was born in Münster, Germany in 1971. He soon realized his way heading towards movies and started shooting and editing Super 8 film at early age. After graduating from high school (Abitur) in 1992 he directly obtained practical training at a film company and a rental house. From there on he started working as second AC and focus puller for about ten years. In 2003 he began shooting as a Director of Photographer on student short films and from 2005 on he has shot television commercials as well as corporate and station IDs.

Hiroo Takaoka came to the U.S. from Japan in 1989 to become a cinematographer. He earned his B.A. in Film from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts in 1993. After graduation, he worked as a camera assistant, learning the craft alongside such established DPs as Slawomir Idizak and Ellen Kuras.
Ted Butler is a writer, producer, and director based in New York City. He has experience working on a wide range of productions including scripted comedy, documentaries, and reality television. Most recently, Ted worked as a producer on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.

Michael Belcher was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania and went to film school at Ithaca College. He is currently a non-union cinematographer, camera operator, and gaffer based in NYC.
Pierrot Colonna was born in Paris in the mid 70’s. Not interested in the typical school system, he managed to get a job in a newspaper as a messanger. A few months later his relationship with the photographers at the newspaper lead him to learn the basics of photography and start shooting stills.
