Short-format Production & Post-Production
As with any student film, your project has great expectations on a gritty budget. It needs to bring on board a proficient shooter while not bulking-up on additional crew. It requires a multi-day edit best overseen by a preditor. Every key point is crafted, illustrated or explained (for example using cutaways of simple graphics to illustrate concepts) but the edited show is neither polished nor does it emerge from the oven a perfect pie. It has some “character” shall we say most notably due to a lack of color correction, its very basic audio mix and the fact that only one day was allotted for editing. You’ll review our cut once to give us notes and take a final peek just to make sure we haven’t accidentally reversed the polarity before you sign off on delivery. We ask that you link back to the bigcitypix website once you’ve posted your actual show video or written about your project online.
